F3F international contests 2012

Hi all,
I came across infos this morning (apparently 2 months later than at least our Spanish colleagues), that the FAI is setting up a new F3F competition series called "World Cup" this coming season 2012. The initiative apprently comes from Franz Demmler, GER, after the withdrawal/rejection of his German Open from the Contest Eurotour circuit this last season.
Apparently, following events enter this new series:
- German Open (if followed by the Open German Championship, it would be a great opportunity for training in Rügen before the WC!)
- Saint Iria Race Lisboa, Portugal
- Spring Cup in Gdansk, Poland
- Donaupokal in Austria
- Asturias in Spain
There seems the Typhoon Race to be held in South-Corea is also in discussion to integrate this World Cup, as well as eventually a contest organized by Kyle Paulson (California?).
The final World Cup ceremony would apparently be held at the FAI headquarter in Lausanne, Switzerland.
If all this is confirmed, it would be a strong shortage of possible F3F Contest Eurotour events in 2012, since an event may certainly not be part of both series.
I think all pilots would like to prepare their competition calendar for the 2012 season. On my side I would like to learn what the intentions of the individual organizing countries are (Eurotour or World Cup).
If anyone has some confirmation or more information, thanks to leave comments.
