New Asian F3F Record set at 30.72 Seconds on Needle 100 DS

'O' flew a blistering 30.72 seconds on his Needle 100 DS on January 15, 2011. The race took place at Hou-long, Miao-li, in central Taiwan. Gratulations, 'O'!!!
Here's the flight and some pics stolen on RCgroups. I'm convinced he could have achieved 28 seconds without some trajectory errors.
We can see the so-called Energy Management turn has definitely entered Asian F3F competition. A few months ago I reported they were training hard. It pays off now, even on a K-tail glider.

And some DSing with a Baudis Cyril by the same pilot ('O'). Nice location!
