French F3F Winter League Calendar is online

Our French F3F friends have prepared a nice calendar for some F3F and 60" races during the winter break. If definite locations and slopes will be set in the last moment according to wind conditions, the dates are scheduled.

The contests will each be held on one day, Saturday or Sunday. As a long tradition, their contests are spread in three regional groups, and each group is named after some local symbol or traditional dish. So this winter we have:
- five Cassoulet Soaring contests in the South-West (Languedoc-Roussillon region)
- four Raviole Soaring in the East-Center (Rhône-Alpes region)
- two Mistral Soaring contests, one F3F and one 60" (Bouches du Rhônes)
Well, that totals 11 one-day contests to keep our French friends trained this winter. No surprise that France became and is such great F3F nation, when a bunch of dedicated pilots are able to organize such a number of regional contests for the off-season!
For all of you planning some family vacation in the southern half of France this winter, you'd better check out the contest calendar on F3F-France web site to choose the right weeks... Bon appétit!
